"Loved the shower! I missed it when I got home. :( Computer with internet in room was awsome! Great location - close enough to be accessible to many tourist attractions and good restaurants; far enough away to be quiet and secure. Within a few blocks of every Metro and train line we wanted to ride. Rooms were small, but nice. Only complaint is that beds have sharp corners; I bumped my leg several times, resulting in scrapes and bruises."

"Front desk personnel were excellent and helpful. The only issue was breakfast. There was no way I would pay 16 Euro for the buffet, when I could get a 4 or 5 Euro breakfast literally outside the hotel front door. Otherwise a fantastic hotel that I would recommmend to anybody."

"great place! When we come back to Barcelona, it will definitely be to the Hotel Claris. Staff could not have been more helpful, great location as long as you don't care to be close to Las Ramblas, which we don't, very comfortable. We like that the section of town is more quiet and upscale, not as touristy and cheesy as the Las Ramblas area. yet it is close to Sagrada Familia and other spots of interest."

"Didn't have breakfast at the hotel but there were several local cafes including Starbucks! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was excellent. We were given a room at the back of the hotel which was a good size and very quiet. There was a small bar in the hotel but we never actually saw this open, which was not too much of a problem. The pool, although quite small, was really good to have and there were sufficient sun lounges and pool towels provided. I would definately recommend it"

"My Partner and I were staying in Barcelona for 5 nights, and for the price that hotel offered at the time seemed very reasonable, but I had expected to receive a fairly sub standard service all round. However to my surprise, the Catalonia Port, was in a prime location to the port and the main Street La Ramblas, the room was very clean, modern, and all in all very comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel as there are so many great places to eat surrounding the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I would recommend this great City Hotel to anyone."

"Minus: Majority of the staff speak poor english. Double bed in our room was very hard – almost torture to sleep on it. During the weekend between 00:00-05:30 it got extremely noisy due to a club situated nearby. Try avoiding a room facing the street. Plus: metro station is just 5 min away from the hotel. Ok breakfast, great sauna and room price."

"Staff was friendly but maybe lacked a little bit in a in beeing serviceminded enough. Only a few in staff could speak a basic English. Room was basic but good. Clean with good beds and bathroom and tv."

"We chose this hotel for it's close proximity to Camp Nou and were very pleased with our choice. Very close to the Metro, so everywhere easily accesible. Internet connection is lousy, but there is a computer in lobby to use. The staff are great And speak many languages!"
