Poggio alla Sala Resort was the estate of the nobleman Pietro Bonci Casuccini, agronomist and etruscologist. In 2007, it became a fine luxury hotel.
From its position on top of a hill, it has an enchanting panorama on the vineyards and olive trees of the typical Tuscan countryside.

Poggio alla Sala Resort is composed of six buildings : Villa di Manor, Scuderie (stables), Limonaia (lemon-house), Fattoria (farm), Granai (granaries) and Podernovo (new farms).
The resort is organised around Villa di Manor. It holds the most sumptuous rooms and suites as well as the resort’s two restaurants.
Le Grotesque Restaurant has a unique atmosphere thanks to its beautiful frescoes and provides traditional dishes prepared with the best and freshest local products.
Agape restaurant is also a wine bar and it couples creative cuisine with an excellent wine list.
