Hotel 1000 Miglia inaugurated on October 14th 2002, is situated in Monteroni d’Arbia, only 10 km south of Siena and 15 km from Montacilno. Originally, Monteroni d’Arbia mainly lived from agriculture, and it still possesses recollections from the Middle Age such a 13th century mill, Grancia di Cuna, a fine example of fortified farm that was property of the Santa Maria della Scala siennese hospital or Lucignano d’Arbia a former feud strategically situated on Via Francigena an important pilgrimage route to Rome.

Siena can easily be reached by bus, train or even bike as we are on the plain.

You can walk, ride a bike or a mountain bike, on your own or with a patented guide, through the forest or along the Siennese Clays to enjoy the open air and the diverse environment.

Hotel Mille Miglia is situated on Via Cassia, theatre of the yearly race Mille Miglia during which old racing cars show off and compete against each other. Hotel Mille Miglia took its name from the race.

The hotel provides a private and closed at night car park as well as a garage for a limited number of cars. Guests can also park their cars in the large area surrounding the hotel. Rooms have been tastefully decorated by the owners who are furniture sellers and home designers.
