14 July 2010"Only one comment that was a problem. I also mentioned this to Barbara at the front desk who wrote a note about the problem as well. On my arrival, I had several items laundered, and they came out well with same day turnaround and service. However, on Monday, I also asked for the same service, with a laundry bag and items left in my room and the paperwork included. Upon my return to the room, they had not been done. Not a major problem--as I left the next day. Just alerting you to this, in case there was a breakdown in communication perhaps. Grazie."

14 July 2010"On appearances the hotel foyer is really modern with a lot of marble - very clean lines however when you get to the rooms (311) it appears they could do with a little more up dating - the bathrooms appear to be from the 1990's with no standalone shower facility and poor quality shower separation/door type attached to the wall/bath. As we were compromised with the national rail strike in Italy on 9/7/10 we did not get an opportunity to avail completely of the facilities on offer by Galles Hotel Milan. Maybe next time."

9 July 2008"I was pleased with the hotel and facilities despite reading some negative reviews. The only bad thing was that the air conditioning was turned off just after midnight until 5am and the room got very hot and I had to open the windows which let the mosquitoes in. I enquired at other hotels in the area and apparently it is standard practice to turn off the aircon over night!"
