1 September 2010"The hotel itself, in my opinion was not a 3 star. We were upgraded to a suite because we reserved 2 twin beds and got a double. The 1st room was disappointing but the suite was, in my daughters saying, was getto fab. I really liked the suite although it needed some updating. Having said that the staff was amazing! We came into town to stay for 1 night and couldn't find a decent hotel at a decent price in La Spezia, and the staff worked together to get us a 4 star at a great price in La Spezia. We spent 2 weeks in Italy in 6 cities and the staff at your hotel was by far the most friendly and helpful of any hotel we stayed at. Over all we had a very nice stay at your hotel"

23 June 2008"The walk to and from the city involves going under a rail bridge so, at night, I would not suggest this to female travels as it was a bit remote feeling and did not seem safe. It is close to the city center but somewhat remote in how to get there. I would not walk this route alone at night unless accompanied by others. Also, the room views on the web site gave the impression that they were spacious. They were not spacious at all but they were clean. I had dinner at the restaurant (to avoid what I considered an unsafe walk at night back to the city center) and I was not disappointed. Received a 15% discount on check in for dinner and the food was quite good indeed. Breakfast included was typical for this region and was more than adequate."

31 August 2010"Because of our early departure (7.30am) we were unable to take breakfast but were given a pack-up which I would describe as ok. We also ate Saturday dinner in the hotel restaurant. Not cheap, but reported to be excellent. Table service was excellent but we had to wait an hour for our main course and although the food was excellent we were served what I would describe as a small fillet steak and a tiny portion of potatoes. At 23 euros, poor value. There were no vegetables available and two of the four puddings were off the menu."
