"A very minor point - the green soap that was used in our room disappeared with one wash and was NOT replaced each day. The friendly and very helpful male staff, that we encounted during our three days, made our time with you enjoyable thank you :) The breakfast menu was extensive and catered for all tastes - well done chef. The hotel was so very close to the station and within walking distance to the centre of the city - a perfect hotel for Eurotrain travellers like us!"

"This is not a full service 4 star hotel as it does not have a bar or a restaurant that opens in the evening. It offers wi-fi access but does not have a computer that guests can use. However, the rooms are clean and comfortable and there are plenty of restaurants and other facilities nearby. Access to the town centre and airport is excellent. We had a good stay."

"I have been in the hostel in Easter holidays with 4 more people and we were very happy in the hotel. The rooms are perfect, the workers very kinds, the breakfast very good and complete and, of course, the price very very good. We want to say thank you to the hotel, mainly to the girl who works in reception, for her opinions and comments helping to us to visit the italian cities. We wanted to say it face to face but last days we didnt meet her. THANK YOU AGAIN!!! and be sure that we will recommended this hotel to our friends!!!"

"The only disappointment was that our room only had a shower and no bath. I got the impression from the website that all rooms had baths. Occassionally the shower wasn't very hot or powerful and the way it's designed meant that a lot of water went all over the floor."

"The carpet in the foyer and on the landing was badly stained and gives a bad first impression. Also, there was a strong smell of smoke in our bedroom. On the positive side the staff were extremely helpful. Joan"

"The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is realy nice but the hotel is far from the city center bus (35) goes only until 20:00 and there is nothing around the hotel (no bar, no restaurant). I recomend this hotel for those whith car. PS. The breakfast is wonderful."

"Lovely place, lots of nice touches in the decoration and fun things in the room. Excellent staff and good breakfast. My room was on the small size, but the only real problem was that it was very hot as the only wondow looked out onto an inner roof and for privacy the blind had to be down. Then the air conditioning kept breaking down - they'd reset it, it would be good for a while then go off again. In a different room it would have ben excellent throughout."

"The room was small but perfectly adequate, with everything you need. We found it quiet, and loved the terrace breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The web site gives the impression that the hotel is actually inside the historic centre, when in fact it is just outside - however this is still only a short walk into town, and it IS very close to the railway station. We would happily go back there and would reccommend it as a place to stay in Bologna."

"a shower instead of the bathtub advertised. noisy I could hear the cars and the people in he corridor. but other than a very recommandable and confotable hotel if you want to go to the Palasport futurshow station on the train and come back on foot with a flashlight . linked to the city center by train or bus ( on sunday very few of them so be careful) CHEAP hotel !! : ) only 48 euros a night !!!!"

"Sound on TV did not work on some stations. No wifi connection in my room. Wifi connection in lobby contained warnings of insecure connection leading me to avoid using internet."

"Entfernung vom Stadtzentrum zwar weit, aber sehr gute Busverbindung hin und retour! Haltestelle fast vor dem Hotel. Preis- Leistung stimmt. Die Anfrage für ein ruhiges Zimmer wurde umgesetzt. Schwimmbad ist zwar im Haupthotel, aber kein Problem zum gehen, wirklich nur ein paar Schritte! Bademantel wäre vielleicht ideal."

"This is a nice,clean and friendly hotel near to the centre of things. As Bologna is a very "young" city (University etc...), and the hotel is close to the University area, you can expect a bit of youthful noise at night from streets below but I am sure the rooms at the back of the hotel are quieter. Overall, nice food, good service and a friendly atmosphere make this a hotel well above average in the centre of Bologna. Ostan thar barr!!"
