  • Kazi who greeted us was wonderful! Helped us with our bags and needs the entire time of our stay. He should be promotoed to Manager with a raise!!!

  • Excellent location to visit the centre of Venice! Friendly and helpful reception personnel but they are only available on call (within 10-15 min), so not permanently present.
    Quality of the rooms: we had the biggest room (nr 1), nice interior, with a splendid view on the charming square San Stefano. So specify upon reservation! The marjority of the photos on the web are taken in this room nr 1 (that's why we rated "Property pictures" with 2 points out of 5 only, because they are not applicable to all rooms). Room 2 has also a view on the square. Rooms 3 & 4 have only side view or no view at all.
    Minus points: Bad isolation against noise. The hotel presentation on the web mentions "Breakfast, served in the below breakfast bar". This is not correct: breakfast is "served" in the room and consists of instant powder coffee, dry bisquits, dry toast and a wrapped industrial and tasteless croissant. Only after complaining, we could have breakfast in the bar where we had a fresh croissant and fresh coffee, but served by a unfriendly bartender who clearly let us understand that this was not the normal way! So overall appreciation: nice room and excellent location, but some minus points you have to be aware of.
