"Be carefully! When we arrive to the hotel and after check-in, guy that attended us in the lobby try to give us a room completely different. This one was in other flat, nothing relative to the pictures that we show in the web. It was a big but very uncomfortable room without any picture, TV not working and with very functional furniture. Our feeling is that this one belongs to a completely different hotel. After comply, he gave us a room as we show in the web page an according with our expectations. Completely different was the attitude of the girl that we found in the same place next day. She was so kindly and professional."

"The air conditioning was not working properly during our stay. Fortunately, the evenings were cool and we were able to cool the room off quite easily before going to sleep. I had spoken to a few other guests and their AC was working properly. The hotel staff said that they would get this fixed. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others without reservation."

"Realistically this is an Airport hotel and is great for an overnight stay, staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms clean and comfortable. It’s a short walk to/from the Airport or take advantage of the free shuttle bus service which will take you to the car hire companies as the hotel is right next door to them with easy access to the road networks. Also there’s a great little Pizzeria a few doors away, not much to look at from the outside but the food is great."

"We liked the slightly faded aspect of this hotel (anyway some reviews had prepared us for worse) which in reality is just in keeping with the region. Value for money compared to 3 other hotels was the best - combining character, amenities (gardens and parking) with refreshingly modern (but worn) style, helpful service and even a good value smart restaurant. Would have stayed longer here instead of other hotels in Amalfi/Sorrento region as it's all accessible. But you need a car for more than one night's stay we think."

"i would recommend the hotel for it's location and beauty only. It is very close to the harbor and we felt very safe walking around the immediate are in the early evening. I am not sure I would venture out too late. The hotel has only 10 rooms. It is lovely in its decor, but the staff was almost condescending. Totally not what I expected coming from a week in Sorrento where they were so nice. The hotel is on the 4th floor of the Galleria. There is a gate to get into and out of access to the hotel. The staff did not tell us how to get OUT of the gated area when we left for the evening. When we went back up to the lobby of the hotel (via the old, 2 person, double-doored elevator), the man at the desk was very snotty as he tried to explain how to get out. You had to press a button, which then buzzed the desk, which then the staff unlocked the gate for you. Just so you know, there is no button easily visable as the staff kept saying with annoyance "it's right there on the gate, you'll see it." You had to reach your hand through the gate and press the button that is on the other side that would be used to let people in - minor detail. The overnight staff person was VERY nice. We had a 4:30 am pickup. He called the cab for us, set out several section of the breakfast for us and made us cappuccino. Then, when I left my bag on the breakfast bar, he yelled over the balcony to the cab driver to wait while he brought it down to me. THAT was above and beyond. I was very grateful. While the hotel was lovely and safe in the early evening, we needed to dodge homeless people sleeping on the steps and a used needle on the ground when we left the hotel in the early morning. I see no reason to ever go back to Naples, but if I did need a place to stay the night before an early morning flight, I would stay there again - but NOT spend the day there."

"The location of the hotel was excellent for exploring the Centro Antico of Naples. The 35 marble stairs up to the first floor were sometimes a struggle after a long day of exploring, but they weren't misrepresented. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and with the windows closed and the fan on, the street noise was blocked out. Yes, the room was rather spartan, but we weren't there for the decor. Luigi was most often on duty when we came and went, and was helpful and engaging. We also felt very safe with having 24 hour coverage on the front desk and to open the hotel door."

"The hotel is good value for money, it offers rooms with air conditioned, TV, ensuite, a small desk, small fridge and a good size bed. It is very clean, also has wardrobe. Breakfast is included and is OK: sweet and chocolate croissants, boiled eggs, cereal, a juice dispenser, some ham, packaged biscuits and toast, yoghurt and cakes. The staff are very friendly. During summer they also offer dinner in the terrace. Location wise you will need to take a couple of buses to get to the city center or a taxi, as Naples is a big city. WIFI is available although it can be slow at times. There is a couple of computers nearby the reception in case you do not have your own and access is limited to 15 minutes. In front of the hotel there is a car park. When I stayed there were some big groups staying for one or two nights."

"It was difficult as the staff did not speak any english, and therefore when we tried to understand from reception staff 'where to go in Naples' for sightseeing, dinner etc we had no luck and ended up deciding to just use the map provided and take it from there. The breakfast was lovely and the hotel is central to the train station."

"Great location for access to the train & bus stations & the historic city centre. Unfortunately the area is a bit run down and there are very few good bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. However the hotel restaurant has good food at reasonable prices."

"The hotel is close to the trainstation, but the area was not nice, too much garbage, too much noise, no service around in the area. Not many nice places to eat. The room was nice, and the price was ok, but I would choose to go somewhere else in Naples if you have to go there."

"The staff at the hotel were awesome and did their best to make my stay comfortable. The room was exactly as it had appeared online and the location was convenent. But the staff really made my stay great. They readily had suggestions of things I would like to do and places to eat. This was remarkable because I dont speak Italian other than a few casual phrases and only two of the staff members spoke English well enough for general conversation but that didnt stop them from making conversation with what English they knew. Everyone was very friendly and the ice cream shop on the bottom floor was a plus."

"The staff was unfailingly professional and very nice. The TV set was too small and the lights next to the bed were very dim. If you want to read in bed, forget it. Location was excellent. Room was really comfortable w/a small sitting room and balcony and terrace. Very quiet at night much to our surprise. It is a lively and fascinating area. We thoroughly enjoyed it."
