"The staff at the hotel was not as friendly and helpful as I have come to expect in Italy. The location was not as close to tourest sights as the advertising would lead one to believe (a 20 minute walk). The room was not equiped with an iron or ironing board and the staff were unable to provide one. The air conditioning in the room was barely adequate. Other than these specific concerns, the hotel met our expectations."

"As a review, the room we stayed in (106)was very small for 2 people and the bathroom facility also very small. We were tripping over each other and our belongings. The Hotel is in a good location. The staff was exceptionally good professional, friendly and accommodating. They made the brief stay worthwhile. For that alone as well as the cleanliness of the Hotel and its location, I highly recommend it. "

"We would have like sky t.v. with more english speaking programs and better receiption of english speaking programs. Also tea and coffee making facilities in our bedrooms, As in 90% of British hotels. It was a pity the food in the 5th floor bar was not better. We had a pizza and it was probably the worst one we have ever had. Obviously heated in a micro wave. But the service with your lovely lady bar attendant was very attentive. We also thought the wine glasses there were very small for the price."

"Staff at Hotel Palazzo Vecchio provided excellent service and great breakfast spread. They were very helpful with all our queries, and bookings for museums and restaurants. For 3-star hotel, I was expecting a slightly more larger room for 2 people and better amenities, but I've been told this is typical of European hotels. Would definitely stay here again."

"We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We were pleasantly suprised with the excellent location (only 5 minutes from the tran station, 2 minutes to Il Duomo, 5 minutes to Ufitzi), the friendly staff and the exceptional cleanliness of the room and bathroom in particular. We will certainly stay there again and would recommend this hotel to all who travel to florence."

"This hotel was very good, for Italy standard they did their best to be considerate especially after a long day of travel. The location was Perfect! Housekeeping needs to keep the Hot Tub Clean, they forgot about the roof top Hot Tub and were constantly reminded and they did nothing. Really Grimy. Breakfast was AWESOME! The pouridge(oatmeal)was the very best and Presecco with breakfast, all of their coffee selections were prepared perfect each day. The hot chocolate was spectacular. True attempt to live up to its name - It felt like a palace during breakfast. Internet was very accessible laptop and business center complimentary. Concierge service was very considerate in helping you book tours and museums, they even packed us a full breakfast "To Go" because we had an early excursion. Thank you Valentina. The bartender was exceptionally polite."

"The hotel was clean and comfortable but the rooms were small.The staff was polite. You can go to city centre in 10 minutes by walking. The garden was beautiful. The bathroom was small and the towels were like tablecloths would have prefered towelling."

"A great budget hotel with friendly staff, ideally placed for visiting Florence. The only concern we had - the booking of large school parties in the hotel which made it very noisy at night. This may have been a one off. However we would certainly be happy to use the hotel again. "

"I think that it would be helpful to have a closet that is NOT on top of a chest of drawers and a safe; I could hardly reach the closet rod. Also, nightables with drawers would be helpful. Otherwise, we were very happy with the facilities."
