  • I didn't realize that you could post pictures of the hotel rooms, or I would have taken pictures of this hotel. It looks absolutely nothing like the internet pictures. It was, by far, the most run down tiny room that I have ever had to sleep in. Peeling paint, broken furniture, terrible trundle beds that will break your back, cracked tiles, mildew, filthy carpets...a nightmare. I was really miserable in this hotel. I still have to admit, however, that the people working there were very nice and extremely helpful. I changed rooms twice, hoping for improvement and they were very accommodating. The location is great as it is a 2 minute walk to the tube station. To be completly fair, the first room was by far the most horrible room (absolutely horrific!!) The second room was much better, but the toilet ran all day and night, driving me crazy and the tiles were cracked. You can't sit on the toilet until you have closed the door and it is still an act of elasticity to wash your face or brush your teeth. The most frustrating was that the so called kitchen didn't even have a coffee machine. In both cases, the bed was way to small for two people and the mattress was just 5 inches thick, with a roll away spring underneath. For the price, you will find much better in London.

  • The hotel on itself was ok, the employees very kind. The carpet floor which was pretty dirty. The bathroom was clean and its size was good (compared to most hotels in London).

  • If you want to stay a weekend in London and you don't expect the best quality, the room we had was sufficient. It was very small but clean. The bed was allright, but the sheet was torn. The distance to the centre of London was about 15 minutes by Tube. We enjoyed our stay. You hear and feel the trains of the Tube: it is quiet from about 12.00PM till 5.30AM.

  • We were moved from one room to another: the first one smelt like dog shit, the second was in the basement, and barely opened outside, it was mouldy.
The "wireless" connection advertised on the Internet was in fact not available without paying, and very expensive (£15/per day).
