If you are satisfied with the basic facilities, you can perfectly stay there. For the price you pay, you can't ask more. The employees are friendly, the room is clean but the hotel is very old and old-fashioned. Nevertheless, we have no complaints about our stay in this hotel. However, if you want luxury, go somewhere else and pay more.

Our visit to London was Wonderfull, because our very pleasant stay at this Hotel, we will certaily advise others to stay there as well, when visiting England.
We will be back!!!!

Cranbrook Hotel was a nice experience. It was very affordable so you do not expect a 5 star experience. The staff was helpful and friendly and the stay was generally good. The hotel is very homely .... like a bed and breakfast.
The bathroom could be improved though. The shower in my room was very small and there was no room to turn in it. If you are more than 5'7" tall you will have to bend to fit.
The distance from London central is not 15 mins as stated in the site. It was 45 mins via national rail or bus and tube. Transportation is easy and good however and I liked the area. The distance from Heathrow is between 1hr 45 mins to 2 hrs. Ilford is in east London.
I would recommend this hotel to travellers who are looking for cheap or reasonable accomodations.
