20 January 2012"The receptionist was excellent as on my booking request I asked for twin beds but when I arrived it was a 'double'; arrangement very smoothly arranged but unfortunately no frig in room just an empty space. This did not however spoil the stay or the impression of service and omfort. Thankyou again, we shall return."

4 September 2010"We have stayed at this hotel several times and always enjoyed our stay. This time we felt the hotel had declined a bit and the rooms need to be freshened. New bedding and towels would be great. We will return but hope it will be updated. We love the location."

28 June 2011"The hotel is very close to South Kensington Station and within a mile of the Albert Hall which is why we chose it. The receptionist was very helpful. The breakfast could be improved. We had the Continental buffet breakfast but have had much better choice in other hotels of the same calibre. Also, the breakfast staff need to be trained to remove all cutlery from the breakfast table after someone has vacated it and not just polish cutlery with a (?used) serviette and replace on the table. The complementary tea tray in the bedroom should have a larger selection of teas. They had basic PG tips, which I don't think is good enough. A few biscuits and a bottle or two of water would also be a good idea. The bed was clean but the top sheet was stained and should not have been used, even though it had come back from the laundry."

10 July 2011"We really enjoyed our stay. We were in an executive room 307 and thought it was spacious and attractive with a VERY comfortable sumptious bed. Super fridge for storing food/drink in. Really thought the replenishing of water each day and a complimentary paper is an excellent touch. I liked the welcome card and the chocolates too - made us feel welcomed and special. All staff from all departments deserve special mentions for their professionalism, helpfulness and yet not being too obtrusive. I would certainly visit again and recommend to anyone to stay at The Parkcity - an awesome place!"

20 August 2009"In general the hotel is ok. Our room, I don't know about the other rooms, was very small, without space for two people, but it was enough for us because we only were in the hotel for sleeping, no more. The bathroom was clean. The only problem is the breakfast because the living room is too small and it only can be 4 tables, but you can wait 2-3 minutes and you can go. For us, in general, was ok because our idea was only sleep, and the price is ok in comparison with the other that are better, but more expensive. I suggest that the people take it this hotel for tourism"

16 October 2011"The service was averaged, but the personals himself was kindley! We had a room at third floor (35). It was clean, but the wallpaper is coming down...and the hair dryer did not work...the wifi is bad(very slowly)at the 3rd floor and only 3 english TV programms (BBC)and we made a triple person booking, but the room was small and had 2 chairs and 2 coffee cups..., I think normally it was a double-room. In the morning at rush hours(8am),the water supply line has a problem, for minutes no water is coming through or better it`s stuttering.... !! But against expectations, we heard no tube noise in the 3rd floor!!! In spite of the fact that we were in London centre it was very very calme!! Only 3 minutes from the tube station Notting Hill Gate and 5min. from Bayswater station and Queensway station (central line). Nervertheless we had a good time at Blue Bells Hotel ;-)"

24 October 2009"I stayed here with my teenage daughter for a few days of visiting London. The hotel was clean and comfortable (keeping in mind that it is a budget hotel--no luxurious furniture!), and the breakfast served was adequate (cereal, toast with spreads, juice, and hot drinks). The location seems to be in a very safe and quiet neighborhood, which was important to us. What impressed me most was the quiet, competent service of the hotel operators--they were always on hand, responded quickly and efficiently to requests, and were unfailingly polite. I'd definitely look into staying here again on a return trip to London, just because of the service."

17 December 2011"Reason for some ratings being below "Good" relates to the fact that the heating system in the bathroom did not work. Despite repeated requests to reception the hotel was unable to repair within our stay. An unpleasent situation when outside is stormy and temp. is low (5 C). Except for that the hotel was nice and the staff was first class. Recommending the hotel will be joined by modifications as indicated above. "

24 June 2009"The hotel facilities (bar/longe/restaurant) were all very modern and clean, however, it's a shame that they haven't given the rooms the same treatment. I'm not saying that the rooms were grubby but they could do with a refurbishment. All that said, our stay was enjoyable with the staff both friendly and helpful."

Doors locked by about 9.30 pm so felt secure. breakfast was basic but good, heaps coffee/tea which was worth a lot!! 10 minutes walk from station in mostly well lighted area with safe road crossings. will go back there again"

This is the hotel I will most probably choose in my future trips to London. It is a bargain for the quality it offers.."
