The Hotel Suisse, which was completely renovated in 2005, is located in the heart of Nice, only a few steps away from the old town and harbor. This charming hotel, which offers comfort and modern amenities, including complementary WIFI access in the bar and lounge areas, has a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea and the English Promenade. Our guests can discover the pleasures that the nearby markets have to offer or just enjoy the private beach and restaurant that is situated right in front of our hotel. The hotel, which was transformed into a stylish and contemporary style hotel, offers 35 rooms, almost all with a view of the sea. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower or bathtub, hairdryer, air conditioner, satellite TV, minibar, safe, telephone and Internet access (via a modem plug). Children who are under the age of 12 can stay without charge in their parents' room.

  • The people who worked at the front desk were minimally helpful (except for the main house-keeping woman who was extremely friendly and seemed to be there night and day!) Others usually acted sort of surprised if you asked a question or required some detailed information. The attitude seemed to be sort of "the hotel is in the best location and has a great view, why ask for more?" The hotel is not inexpensive (even in mid-November). The rooms are small, the breakfast is not great and very expensive (for 14 Euros, or USD22!) For the lack of service at the hotel, they should seriously consider including the breakfast in the cost of the room.

  • Hotel's assets are its proximity to the Old Town (5 minute walk) and its spectacular view of the sea and beach assuming you have a balcony view. Superior room is drab (needs some wall hangings) and small by conventional standards, and shower partition unfortunately doesn't prevent flooding the bathroom when shower is in use. Lack of adequate lighting makes reading in bed extremely difficult. Staff is professonal, friendly and anxious to please.

  • We asked , upon arrival, for some places to eat and dance. The dance club had burned down a few (more than 2) months ago....unable to get any Euros from the hotel was told to go to the bank on Monday...we came in on Sunday.
    Remote control to the television did not work and aske dto get it fixed and was given one that still did not work then finally got one for our last night.
    Not as customer serviec oriented as I had expected for the price....
    would stay again with all of these expectations as the room was GREAT.
    Others need to be aware of the lack of customer service and knowledge of the area, with that in mind , I would recommend
