Great value for money - modern design hotel, good connection to the city as well as in walking distance to the see.

It would have been nice to have a kettle and cups in the room to make tea and coffee.
I was quite surprised when the bar man tried to charge me for 2euros 55 cents for a cup of milk. I had to walk a very long distance to the supermarket just to buy some milk which was quite annoying.
I was also surprised that the hotel receptionist took payment form my credit card on arrival - that is not normal procedure. So I was not very happy about that.
The hotel receptionist mentioned the taxi to the CCIB convention would be about 6 or 7 euros and infact charged more than 8 euros for a 6 minute journey! Unbelievable!
The area where the hotel was located was sadly quite unpleasant, particularly for a nice hotel.

The hotel is a nice place to stay, rooms are small but comfortable and the staff is friendly. The location is not top, but for the price paid very good. We used the spa and were surprised off the facilities the hotel offers, though the noise of the motors and the smell of wetness in walls were a bit disturbing.
But I will not go back and will not recommend the hotel because of the enormous noise at night from the club in the direct neigbourhood. We were waked in the middle of the night by a constant heavy beat and electro music and when opening the curtains we could see the purple electric light flashing on the other side of the patio.
Even with eardops the beat and heavy music got through, we could even feel the beat. This problem is not caused by the hotel, but I will not take the risk of staying at the nice place again and laying in bed, waiting till the club closes his doors in the morning after 6 o'clock. A real pity!!
