"The air conditioning is not turned on because it is still winter however considering the week I was there it was very hot, so it will be a good think to switch from heating to cooling for the warm weather. The receptionist (Tenzin) was very helpful. She has a warm personality and never too busy to help with general info."

"When we first arrived we were given a room on the first floor with a poor view and a really bad smell. This room was not in line with the price we payed gave us a really bad impression of the hotel. When complaining we were directly given a new, much better room. If we would have been given this room in the first place our rating of the hotel would have been higher."

"This is a lovely hotel, we have stayed there twice, in a great location. The only thing that would improve the hotel rooms would be to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There is no option to order drinks in the morning, so if breakfast is not included then you can only have a very expensive buffet breakfast or go out to get morning drinks."

"Strange location for the hotel as in the immediate vicinity there really isn't anything around in terms of bars, cafes, restaurants etc but it was perfect for our visit which was to go to primavera sound festival which was only 15 mins walk away. Lovely hotel"

"This hotel is well situated, right in the centre of the city and its proximity to the Ramblas makes it a very desirable place to stay. Also, it is very easy to move around other areas in the city. The room was very small. Besides the bathroom, there is really not much space to move around."

"Lower rates don´t mean same quality of accomodation. Our room was old fashioned, walls were dirty , the furniture was in bad conditions, fire sensors were falling from the ceiling, bath items were missing."

"Room 421 immediately next to elevator cage gave a non-stop noise, very disturbing especially during night. Window isolation street-wise very poor as well, so very noisy during all nights. Very good accommodation, though a pitty no waste basket in room (except bathroom) and the lack of noise isolation across. Yet, a nice hotel and excellent service."

"the hotel was nice but sometimes we've received bad service. We had to wait more than one hour during the check-in after check-in time. we were on a schedule so it was an unfortunate event for us. there weren't enough towels in the room. the stuff in the room was not enough for a 4 star hotel it must be a little more luxurious than that."

"Perfect location if travelling to Camp Nou. Seven tram stops on tram 1,2 & 3 across and along the road from hotel takes you 5 minutes from stadium. No. 27 bus takes you to Estacio Sants - handy if flying from Reus Airport. Bus stop across from the hotel - buses take you to Plaza de Catalunya. Hotel is immaculate, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. I stayed here a couple of years ago and everything was perfect, hence the reason for re-booking. We will be back."

"Very pleasant and quiet room. It was so quiet because it had no view. The hotel is market is a budget hotel on some sites. Well this really is not a budget hotel in my opinion. The location is perfect."

"I recommend this hotel highly, its location, room size and features, and overall hotel experience and service met or exceeded my expectations. My only complaint was a noisy ventilation fan (room 403), which due to its noise level could not be used on the high setting. This was not required on our stay as it was cool in Barcelona then and we had the windows open in the evening. Due to street noise (a feature in any hotel in this central location) we could not leave them open all night. The windows however, were very effective at keeping the street noise out. A very good experience on our second stay in Barcelona."

"Le camere sono molto silenziose e il bagno spazioso anche se manca il bidè. Tutte le indicazioni sono solo in lingua spagnola e anche il personale preferisce questa lingua, ma devo ringraziare Jorge della reception che parla italiano e che con molta gentilezza e disponibilità mi indicava i bus con cui muovermi.(cercatelo è bravissimo!). La posizione dell'albergo è buona, proprio dietro alla Diagonal, vicino alle fermate dei bus, ma il centro è raggiungibile a piedi in poco tempo."
