"Very near the airport with pickup service included. Short walk to train station to centre of town but quite a long train ride. Residential (flats) area with only one restaurant and a kebab shop nearby. Not suitable for a city stay but excellent for access to the airport"

"Unsatisfactory service by not being able to deliver an extra (in advance ordered and confirmed) bed. My customer had to pay extra for having a suite with 3 beds!"

"There is no a smoking area in the all day long over the hotel territory. As a business tourist from EC country, when we need an invoice named of the company, registered in the VIES system, according to VAT law, we have a right to receive the invoice with VAT=0. The staff in the hotel denied to issue such type of invoice and finally calculated the VAT 19% over the price."

"The ad called it the a & o berlin mitte hotel, but it really is more of a hostel. If was full of teenage travellers, which is ok. Many of them were drunk running up and down the halls. The hallway our room was in smelled of marijuana. Staff are really great, rooms are a great size, lovely and clean."

"The location of the Hotel, being so close to the S-Bahn is ideal. The S-Bahn from Schonefeldt airport to Charlottenburg took less than 45 minutes, and then less then 200m, there is the Hotel. Tickets can be bought in the reception, and then one can utilies public transport within Berlin. Excellent. The rooms are OK, the breakfast more than OK, and when location is added, we choose this Hotel when in Berlin."

"Cheap, cheerful, fun staff, great bar on top floor. only downside: Really poor window fittings the curtains were paper thin and badly hung I lay in bed in pure daylight with a view of the street."

"The most important for me and my husband was to park our car. I didn't know that the hotel is the owner on the one floor in the building and doesn't provide his own parking. It caused for us the ticket of 15 Euro to pay for the wrong parking place. In real there is no chance to park the car properly because of lack of the space on this street. It was big disadvantage for us."

"We chose this hotel mainly because of the short distance to the Olympia stadion(U2 concert). A short, nice and safe walk for mum and two daugthers. Supermarket, restaurant,pharmacy and S-bahn near the hotel. The hotel was a perfect choice for this stay. What we missed:a sheet with some basic information in each hotel room. A waterboiler for making tea."

"A basic hotel that served our purposes very well. The room was very clean and it was nice to have proper beds rather than a sofa bed for the children. The location of the hotel was excellent. It is only a few minutes walk to the U-Bahn or S-Bahn which take you to the centre in about 10 minutes. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel to anyone who wants value for money."

"very good price - performance ratio. Very clean, very professional staff. Location appr. 30 min outside city centre by public transport (bus station just outside hotel door). Nothing touristic in vicinity of hotel at all. Several restaurants in walking distance (15 min.), low/medium budget. Apartment was booked but only a double room with 2 extra bed (couch) was given, after complaint 2-room junior Suite (no apartment) was given, was OK for us. Beds are comfortable, couch not good for adults."
