  • The room had problems with aircon during a very hot stay. A one speed fan was provided near the end of the stay but that was our fault for not reporting it before. There were several minor 'ageing' problems with the room but overall we had a good stay and everyone was very helpful.

  • I was very annoyed at the person who answered the phone at Heath and fitness counter on 4 th April 2010 at around half past 10 at night. I rang and asked about the swimming pool and all I heard from the female voice was NO then she hung up on me. Then I tried to ring again, the person picked the phone up and hung up again before I could speak again. Then I tried again and she did the same repetitively for over 10 times. I was not going to give up upon this rude and appalling phone manner. She then chose not to answer my call when it finally got through the line, so I tried again. Then the same thing happened again she picked up and hung up on me again immediately. After about 5 minutes I rang again and she picked up the phone but she chose not to speak a word. I was so furious I told her " you don't hang up on customers with enquiries". No answer / words from her I gathered she chose to answer the phone without saying a words. What kind of customer service was that? I was so angry I rang the front desk and told the female staff regarding this matter. I was disappointed at Apollo day spa service and I decided to not use their services. I travel a lot and I must say such rude customer service encounter made me so disappointed I will not return to Corinthia hotel in Prague and I certainly will not recommend my family and friends to stay in this hotel in the future.

  • We booked an Executive room on the understanding that the service provided would be similar to our experience at the hotel in Budapest. It was also to be a special treat to our parents. We were wrong. The service was not remotely similar and indeed was at times less than the 'normal' room accomodation. Breakfast choice was less in the executive room and we found ourselves eating in the general breakfast area. Beverages were good but the 'canapes' were uninspiring and little variety. Air conditioning in the room did not work and the room was stiflingly hot - even with the window open! Eventually, we asked for a cooling fan and we used this for the last two days. Staff were friendly and the Manager was particularly helpful on the last evening (New Years ever) when we found that the bar/restuarant and executive room all closed early leaving us with little to do. (elderly parents therefore going into town was not advisable on this particular night). He made sure we received snacks suitable for our needs and invited us to the top floor at midnight to enable us to have a better fiew of the firework display. Much appreciated. Overall, it is a nice hotel but the executive service leaves much to be desired and in fact they would be better not having it in its current form. Budapest was far superior in this regard.

  • While this hotel is away from the attractions, the metro is so convenient to use, that it doesn't matter. The staff were great, the rooms and bed very comfortable and the view is nice too. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • Room was to much glitter (glass, mirrors, chrome) & not enough quality. Also poorly laid out. Bed was very comfortable & room was quiet & certainly large enough. Metro stop was only about 50 yards from hotel, however, city center & most points of interest were several metro stops from hotel. Would prefer to stay closer to city center. All in all, acceptable, but not a great hotel.
Stayed 3 nights in total, 2 as a tour package & 1 night on our own.

  • The hotel was excellent, we stayed on the executive floor and the breakfast and executive lounge area was really wonderful, we felt really spoilt! The only problem was the air conditioning was poor so it was difficult to sleep and it was very warm in the executive lounge as the sun poured through the glass although the view from there helped you forget! The pool area (although smaller than it looked on the marketing pictures) and spa areas were really lovely and clean. It was so easy to get a metro into the centre of Prague and I would recommend this hotel and would visit again.
